Our Classes


WESTDALE PILATES is accessible to all fitness levels. All classes offer modifications and options you can take as you grow in your practice. As with everything new, there will be an adjustment period, but over time you will learn how to move mindfully and move at your own pace.
If you experience chronic back pain, painful joints or have a medical condition, we recommend you send us an email before you start and we can guide you in the right direction.

Offer

Reformer Fundamentals
Beginner friendly (Level 1).
This class is for you if you have never taken a Reformer class before. It’s also for you if you’re working with limitations (old injury, postpartum, Osteoporosis, Arthritis) or just want to hone in again on the basics. This is an ESSENTIALS Reformer class that adds spring loaded resistance to help strengthen and tone your muscles, challenge your core stability and add just a little extra spice to your usual mat workout.

Reformer Advanced Control
Intermediate - Advanced (Level 2-3). This class requires a thorough understanding of the Intermediate + Advanced repertoire.
It is a blend of classical Reformer exercises and more advanced moves to create a high energy class, and will typically move at quite a fast pace, meaning the transition between exercises is quick, but without compromising on the fundamental basics of Pilates.

Note: MUST HAVE AT LEAST TAKEN 10 -15 OF REFORMER CLASSES IN A LOWER LEVEL TO TAKE THIS CLASS!

Not recommended for Beginners, our pre/postnatal clients, or clients with injuries.

Reformer Cardio Jumpboard
Intermediate (Level 2).
You will get your heart pumping with this cardio Reformer workout. Innovative and simple jumping combinations are combined with upper and lower body strength and flexibility exercises. There will be load bearing on wrists and knees in this class. We recommend that you take at least 10 Reformer FUNDAMENTAL or ALL LEVELS classes before joining us in this one. Not recommended for our pre/postnatal clients, clients with Osteoarthritis, joint pain or back problems.

Move With Babe
Join our Parent & Baby Pilates class for a full-body, low-impact workout with your baby by your side.
Our welcoming and easy-going environment allows you to connect with other parents and babies while enjoying the benefits of postnatal exercise.
Experience increased energy, reduced aches and pains, stronger muscles for parenting, and creating connection with other recent parents.
The Parent & Baby Pilates class focuses on core and pelvic floor awareness, strength, and stretching. Both the Mat and the Reformer will be used in these classes!
-All fitness levels are welcome.
-Participants should be 6+ weeks postpartum (consult with your doctor).

Reformer All Levels
All Levels Welcome (Level 1-2).
Our signature Reformer class strengthens and tones the entire body. This class is for the purist- all Reformer with a few additional props. By fusing the methods and teachings of the classical Pilates method with unique and focused training techniques, this open level class will define your core and sculpt your muscles while improving posture, flexibility and mind-body connection. This class teaches a deep level of intricate muscle toning that establishes the foundation for your everyday health and fitness.

Tower + Mat Integration Classes
​Beginner - Intermediate (Level 1-2) class for people with some level of experience with Pilates and who are familiar with the equipment. With the integration of the spring resistance and tower, you will challenge your powerhouse and move your whole body. Similar to the Reformer, it will give you a full body workout through resistance. The powerful combination of mat and tower springs will challenge your body and help you explore new levels of self-awareness and power from within.

Classical Pilates Mat
All Levels Welcome!
This class builds on the repertoire of the Essential and All Levels class. Suitable for clients who have mastered the previous ones and are able to respond quickly and fluidly to cues. This class will challenge everyone at their own level.
